The student section during last year’s Homecoming pep rally. This year the Homecoming game will take place on October 17.

The Carnival will be October 17 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the side staff parking. It will mostly be run by clubs, who will set up booths with games and activities. There will also be a food truck rodeo and activities such as cornhole and face painting.

Spirit week is from October 13-17 and will consist of penny wars and spirit days.

Monday is American Day
Tuesday is Tropical Day
Wednesday is Safari Day
Thursday is International Day
Friday is Green Out

This is another competition between the classes. The classes are awarded points based on how many people dress up.

Penny Wars: Each class has a jar, and the goal is to put pennies in the jar for points. If any other kind of money than a penny is put in the jar, it counts as negative points. Each penny counts as one point, but if someone puts a dime in, that would count as -10 points. The classes can compete with each other to win.

The dance, which is normally the weekend of the football game, has been moved to November 1 from 7 p.m.-11p.m. The theme is the “Harvest Ball” and will be held at school. Tickets cost $10. The dance was moved because it conflicts with the first weekend of the State Fair, and the school did not want to compete with the fair.
