In December Billy Joel announced his franchise at Madison Square Garden. Joel will play monthly shows at Madison Square Garden as long as people will come. Shortly there after he announced he would be touring the country for the first time since 2010.

Aside from Fantasies & Delusions, Joel’s album of compositions, he hasn’t released a studio album since 1993, but having released 12 other albums, Joel never has trouble finding different songs to play.

Since releasing his first hit song, “Piano Man”, in 1973, Joel has become the sixth best-selling recording artist in the United States, according to the Recording Industry Association of America.

After playing two shows at Madison Square, Joel will be playing at PNC Arena on February ninth. It’s been almost ten years since Joel has played in Raleigh, and his talent hasn’t decreased a bit, even at his advanced age he still puts on fantastic shows. Billy Joel is a legend and one of the best pianist ever, and it’s sure to be one of the best shows to come to Raleigh this year.
