On Tuesday, September 11, with a score of 3-1, the Lady Pride varsity volleyball team remained undefeated with their win against Wakefield. Wakefield has won the Cap-8 conference the past three years in a row.

“Every practice we come in focused on getting better and improving our skills. We are really motivated this year,” Sam Brown, junior, said.

“I hope that we make it all the way to States and that we don’t let this great opportunity that we have in front of us slip by,” said Sasha Karelov, senior. “We have incredible talent this year; the potential we have can’t go to waste.”

The volleyball team’s season has gone better than expected, and they are looking forward to the future.

Kati Stammen, senior, said, “The season has been going great so far. We seem to be working well together and it seems like we have a good chance of coming first in the cap 8 tournament, which hasn’t happened in 15 years. Being a senior, I’d love it if our could leave a lasting impression on the school and went far in States.”
