Leesville Homecoming 2025

Leesville’s Homecoming theme for 2025 is Luau at Loonieville, incorporating a fun, tropical, and vibrant theme. The Homecoming Game is scheduled for October 10, and the dance is scheduled on the following day, October 11. This year’s Homecoming theme has the goal of getting students excited for the week of Homecoming and the fun activities and planning that goes into such a big event.

Spirit Week

MONDAY
It’s Hoco week! LRHS students decked out in their assigned class colors–pink for seniors, blue for juniors, orange for sophomores, and yellow for freshmen–as they kicked off Hoco week 2025. They also received class color leis, courtesy of the LRHS Executive Council.
TUESDAY
Something fishy? Maybe it’s the Surfers and Bikers filling the halls of LRHS today for Tuesday’s Teen Beach out. Students dressed in leather jackets, bandanas, Hawaiian shirts, and flip flops.
WEDNESDAY
Leesville students kept it chill for Island Time Wednesday, wearing their PJs and comfy sweats throughout the day–just no sleeping in class.
THURSDAY
Tacky tourist Thursday featured lots of khakis and cameras as students dressed in their most obvious “I’m a visitor” attire.
FRIDAY
Surfs up Loonies! LRHS students showed out for their Pride Varsity Football team by wearing LEESVILLE GREEN as they took to the turf to beat the Enloe Eagles. Bye-bye, birdies.

Game

Homecoming Court

Each fall, the Homecoming tradition brings together all of Leesville. There is the annual Homecoming football game, the excitement of spirit week, the Executive Council’s Homecoming Dance, and the infamous Homecoming Court.

Powderpuff

Leesville’s Powderpuff game is an annual tradition during Homecoming spirit week. The girls play in a flag football game while the boys coach and cheer. On October 6, 2025, the first day of spirit week, Leesville hosted its very own Powderpuff game. The senior class won 6-0.

SENIORS WIN 0 – 6!!

The senior class hosted one practice to get organized before the game.

Brayden Arrington, senior coach, said, “At first it was kinda all messed up, but we got it together. At practice, we played a couple of games of seven on seven to see where everybody was at and all that…made sure everybody was in the right position and everybody knew what they were doing.”

Sophia Trabulsi, senior, said, “We all knew our strengths and weaknesses. We knew who could catch the ball, who could run faster, who was good on defense, so that was helpful.”

Senior Crowns

Seniors have looked forward to the day when they would be the seniors wearing Burger King crowns in the front row of the student section. Senior Crowns are yet another tradition that makes our senior year special. Students design a crown that encapsulates their time at Leesville, incorporating their personality, identity, and interests.
