A senior kickball game will be held for the class of 2024 on Friday, May 17, 2024. The game will be held at the Leesville softball field at 2:45 pm. 

The annual powder puff games inspired the future kickball games and have recently been put into effect with the help of the Senior Class Council, Ms. Kaur, and Ms. Hyer. 

In preparation for the game, students must register by May 7. Students can sign up individually or as a team, via Google form. 

The Google form will be accessible by QR code, found on flyers around campus and in senior classrooms. 

Senior Class Council will then announce the teams and assign team colors on May 10. 

Teams will be formed considering those who signed up together using the registration Google form. All teams will be co-ed and consist of 12-14 students.

Teams will not be given specific shirts but are expected to wear their assigned color shirts and encouraged to create matching jerseys. 

Team practices are also recommended but will not be organized through the school. 

All participants must complete a Wake County liability waiver by May 10 to be eligible to play.

Captain meetings will be held on May 15 during lunches and after school, to inform team leaders about the rules and expectations of the game. 

Every team is required to bring at least 20 cans to be eligible to play in the game. Parents are also welcome to bring cans to contribute to their teams. The team with the most cans at the end will receive a prize.

While details are still being finalized, games are expected to last 20 minutes or until a team reaches a certain number of points, whichever comes first.
