Leesville Road High School is hosting the 3rd Annual Community Night on Oct. 9, 2012. Leesville Road High School, Middle School, and Elementary School along with Sycamore Creek and Hilburn Academy students, faculty, staff and families are invited to attend.
In past years, Community Night and the Powder Puff game have taken place simultaneously. However, this year, Powder Puff will be held two weeks after the Community Night.
The event begins at 6:00 p.m. at the Marshall L. Hamilton Stadium. The night’s agenda begins with a carnival from 6-7:30. Different clubs from the high school will be set up around the track with various games for the families to try.
A BBQ dinner will be available from 6-8 for those who pre-paid for it.
For those who opt out of the BBQ dinner, bringing $1.00 for and a can of food will admit them into the Community Night event. All cans will be donated to the Leesville Food Drive
From 7:30-9, field games will be open for students, staff, and parents to enjoy. Ten different relay races will be held during the “Olympics”.
Tickets for the event are $12 pre-sale (for dinner) or $1 and a can of food at the door. Pre-sale tickets are only available until Oct. 4 and can be found on the LRHS homepage under the “Online School Payments” tab located on the righthand side. Registration forms for participating in the Olympic relay races can be found online at http://tinyurl.com/LRHSCommunityNight.
