The Lady Pride softball team had a great 2010 season finishing second in the Cap 7 tournament. The season ended in the second round of the playoffs.  The players reflect on a great year and prepare for the next season.

“This season was the perfect way to end my senior year,” said Katie Putnam. “All of us played very well, and I will really miss the team; I am sure they will do great next season.”

Coach Tadlock contributes the great season to the strong group of returning athletes and eager freshman. “Last year we had to little taste of success; that is what led them to such a great season,” said Tadlock. “The upper classmen took the freshman under their wing and let them know my expectations.”

“The season went really well but there is always room for improvement,” said Merritt Murray, freshman. “That is what I will be working toward this summer and the next three years.”

“Championship is made from the work the girls put in over the summer and will determine the success of next year’s season,” said Tadlock, “and for the returning players, never be content with the previous season. You are capable and you should strive for more.”
