Every year, the freshmen class has elections to choose their student council officers for the year.

 

The freshmen student council consists of a president, two vice presidents, and a treasurer. After voting on September 9, the positions were filled.

 

Daniella Olivera, freshman, has become president of the council. Olivera is grateful the freshmen class chose her as president and said she wants to “make sure our freshman class has a good, enjoyable year”.

 

The position of vice president has two students instead of one this year. The two vice presidents are Chloe Hook, freshman, and Parker Pfanmiller, freshman. 

 

Vice President Pfanmiller said, “I want to get involved in my school, and I think I can make changes people will like.”

 

Freshmen want to be a part of the council because they believe they are a good fit to manage the class of 2030. 

 

Vice President Hook said she trusts she will “have a great impact” on the experience of this year’s freshman class. 

 

To spread awareness about their campaign, the students posted on their social media accounts. Posting on social media was a great way for students to see who was running for class council. 

 

Posting flyers in popular places around the school was a beneficial way for the students running to advertise their campaign to those who might not be active on social media platforms.
