As the 2025-2026 school year starts to wrap up, planning for the next school year begins.

The rising senior class is getting excited and there are a couple big events coming up.

This Thursday, April 23 from 6-7:30pm there will be a rising senior event.

Students services will host a presentation for parents about what to expect for the year and the college application process. In addition, there will be numerous colleges present to talk to students who may be interested to hear what they have to offer.

In addition to this event, senior yearbook picture registration opens on May 1.

WCPSS is switching from Lifetouch to CADY for the 2026-2027 school year.

There will be a CADY rep at the rising senior event to answer questions. The pictures take place over the summer on your own time at their studio. In order to schedule your photo session, you must register with CADY. Pre registration is already open. You can register here: 2027 CADY Registration

CADY will send details once you book your photos with more info such as outfits, deadlines, and more important information.

These events are just the beginning for the class of 2027.
