What is HOSA State Leadership Conference 2026?

NC HOSA State Leadership Conference (SLC) took place in Greensboro, NC, from March 25, 2026, to March 27, 2026. Future Health Care Professionals were able to compete in events, attend symposiums, and meet new people throughout the conference.

Students were required to attend 12 total study sessions before attending the conference.

Addison Bauer, junior, said, “It was a good learning experience. I feel more prepared for next year, since placing in the top 10 this year. I now have experience and know what to work on and study for next year.”

At symposiums, students learned new things about healthcare and future careers.

“This was my last SLC, and although I didn’t place, I still had a great time learning new things at symposiums and hanging out with my friends. It was also an extra couple of days of spring break, which was nice to be able to be done with school earlier,” said Hannah Holder, senior.

Only the top 3 from each event have the opportunity to go to the International Leadership Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana, from June 17-20, 2026, with people from all over the world who are also interested in being a future healthcare professional.

“I’m very proud of getting 2nd place as a sophomore and going to ILC in June. It’s a good experience because you get to learn new things while being able to be with friends and doing fun things like the HOSA dance,” said Kendall Hartman, sophomore.

Leesville students represented well with top 10 competitors in 7 events and one for each first, second, and third place. HOSA SLC taught members of the club new careers, teamwork, preparation, and challenges through events, symposiums, and games.
