What is the 2026 Rebrand Trend?

As the new year starts, TikTok has introduced a new trend that many influencers and TikTok users are participating in — “The 2026 Rebrand.”

Unlike the annual New Year’s resolutions that typically get lost by February, this trend focuses on the visible transformation into the best version of yourself — all while holding yourself to a higher standard.

The idea behind the 2026 rebrand is to improve your habits, space, and mindset. For a lot of people, that means keeping their room clean at all times, setting realistic and effective goals, saving money, and learning to respect themselves and their morals.

This rebrand is not about pretending to be something you are not — it is about making changes that reflect the person you want to be.

A similar trend surfacing on TikTok is “2026 Ins and Outs”. Those participating in the trend list out their “outs” for the new year, which are the habits and mindsets they want to leave behind — whereas the “ins” are qualities they want to focus on improving and embracing.

Common outs throughout this trend include procrastination, messy spaces, staying out late, and more. Common ins are things like eating healthier, going to the gym more often, and taking schoolwork more seriously.

Cameron Beasley, junior, explains that these trends feel refreshing and motivate her to stay consistent throughout the entirety of 2026.

Beasley said, “This new year, I’m really trying to focus on having a positive outlook on life and how important it is to value each day.”

Whether you’re fully rebranding yourself, or making a simple ins and outs list, these popular trends encourage you to enter 2026 with intention and purpose — to make the most out of the year by being the best version of yourself you can be.
