Zootopia 2 Review

After the release of Zootopia in 2016, fans have been eager for a star-studded return of characters to the big screen. Zootopia 2 dives deeper into the world of Zootopia, where the movie takes place. The movie tackles topics of friendship, social justice, and diversity in a riveting way.

The story continues right where the first Zootopia movie left off and shows the conflicts Judy and Nick face as they navigate the roles each of them shares in their partnership. In this movie, Nick and Judy, the main characters in Zootopia 2, face a mysterious crime wave in Zootopia.

With Zootopia 2 exceeding the $150 million budget of the first film, the animation quality and many other things have improved by a tremendous amount, truly immersing the audience into the film.

Not only have the animation quality and graphics of the film changed, but the characters have as well, with extreme character development seen in the movie, as we watch Nick and Judy grow both personally and professionally.

The film has received much praise from critics for its ability to tackle important social issues without losing its lighthearted charm and humour, which appeals to both kids and adults.

Overall, Zootopia 2 is truly a worthy successor to its first movie as it expands on the original themes without ruining those core values. This movie is truly a must-see, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Zootopia 3 on the big screen this time next year.
