All the ruckus about Ruckus

Ruckus Scratch Kitchen opened up this June and has been a huge hit. When I went, the food was good, but it was a little expensive.

My favorite thing I’ve had there was the Brisket Mac and Cheese, but it was $25, and I overpaid a lot; however it was genuinely one of the best things I’ve gotten at a restaurant and I would pay for it again.

Luckily for LRHS students, they started a deal: $8 for a meal and a drink during lunch, which is a very good value. It costs about the same as anything from a fast food restaurant, like McDonald’s or Taco Bell, but it is much better quality food.

At first, with the lunch deal, the pizza pieces were huge, but they have since gotten smaller. I still think it is a good value because I wasn’t able to finish both large pieces anyway.

The chicken tenders were seasoned perfectly. You get 4 large tenders, fries, and a drink for $8.

All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming, and they really treat you like family when you dine in.

I would not recommend a meal here with your grandparents unless you want to repeat yourself a million times because it becomes quite loud during football season.

I would recommend a meal here with your friends and those who aren’t hearing impaired. You can also join a fun game of trivia or music bingo to win prizes.

Overall, Ruckus has a great environment, and good food. It’s a little pricey, but it is worth it.
