Since Christmas is right around the corner, those who celebrate should have their wish list ready.
The cool breeze, daylight savings time, and fall decorations coming down are all signs of exciting times: Black Friday and Prime Day.
These are days full of sales and amazing deals and, most conveniently, happen right around the holiday season — perfect for gift shopping.
Christmas is a time of joy, gift-giving, and tradition — followed by opening presents of items you’ve been wishing for on Christmas morning. Finding the perfect gift for your friends and family is tricky, and that’s why a wish list comes in handy.
Common things you’ll find on your friends’ Christmas lists are clothes, a new phone, their favorite snacks, or a new pair of shoes.
Christmas shopping is also expensive and requires setting aside some money. Different wishlists all cost different prices, with a large variety of items.
Aiden Roberts, junior, is most excited about the different clothes he wishes for, but is cautious about the realism behind what he is asking for.
After being asked if he thinks he will be given everything on his wish list, Roberts said, “If not all, then most. I think my list is on the cheaper side, considering the prices of others.”
Roberts is speaking in terms of those who write up their list in terms of suggestions rather than guarantees.
Reagan Gregory, sophomore, has a long, exciting list of items she wishes for, and despite the number of items on her list, she still understands the financial reality.
Gregory states, “I don’t think I’m going to get everything on my list because everything added up is a lot of money.”
Whether your Christmas list is long or short, expensive or inexpensive, the main goal still remains the same — the exciting build-up to Christmas, and eventually, capturing the joy of opening gifts from loved ones.
Compiling a simple Christmas list is one more step towards Christmas morning — and therefore, it is a smart idea to begin writing up your wishlist now.
