From cozy Uggs to stylish sweaters, fall fashion trends are making their way into school hallways. This year students are focusing on comfort, layering, and expressing their personal style.
One popular trend among high school students is oversized clothing. Hoodies, baggy jeans, and loose-fitting sweaters are becoming everyday favorites. These outfits are comfortable and easy to style. Many students are pairing oversized tops with jeans, leggings, or cargo pants to create casual but fashionable looks.
“My favorite fall trend is oversized hoodies and sweaters with baggy jeans… They’re comfortable for school, and I like how you can style them in different ways and rewear them with other outfits,” said Avery Cantu, senior.
Another major trend is layering. Flannel shirts, denim jackets, and zip-up hoodies are popular choices as temperatures drop. Earth tones such as brown, olive green, beige, and burgundy are also making a comeback, giving outfits a cozy fall feeling.
Boots and uggs continue to be popular footwear choices. Students are choosing shoes that are both comfortable and stylish for busy school days.
“I love the fall because I can wear my Uggs… they’re so cozy and go with almost everything,” said Collin Morrison, sophomore.
Overall, fall fashion gives high school students the opportunity to stay comfortable while showing off their individuality. Whether students prefer simple outfits or bold styles, this season’s trends make it easy to create looks that fit in their personalities and keep them feeling confident throughout the school year.
