Tyler McInnis, senior, said, “For two days combined, it took me about five to six hours.”

Many seniors went all out decorating their crowns and walking through the halls on Friday was filled with many different types of crowns and was fun to see.

Natalia Cesky, senior, said, “I like it [the crown decorating] a lot. I think it’s really fun, and it allows me to be more creative in school.”

The crowns have been a unique Leesville tradition for many years and one that makes seniors feel special. McInnis said, “It [the crowns] makes the seniors feel special when you get to walk around and wear a crown, and you see everybody else wearing theirs nice and decorated.”

The different ways that seniors have decorated their crowns allows them  to showcase their creativity.

Seniors wore their crowns during the school day on Friday, September 25 as well as at the Homecoming football game and enhanced their support for the pride.
