The Hall-O-Ween event at Leesville is a trick-or-treating style event for younger elementary and middle school students. The event is taking place on Oct. 29, 2026, and it runs from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
The Executive Council plans and runs this event every year, allowing other clubs at Leesville to sign up and decorate a door in the social studies and CTE hallways. Clubs have foldable tables and have the option to hand out candy or host an activity in the collaborative space.
Volunteers dress up in kid-friendly costumes to greet families and make the experience more welcoming. Exec Vice President Jillian Hamel, senior typed, “I think volunteers dressing up creates a more festive atmosphere for the kids and families who come to the event and allows the high schoolers a more enjoyable time volunteering.”
The event is a great opportunity for families to celebrate Halloween in a safe and controlled environment. Trick-or-treating is known to be a semi-dangerous activity, having young kids running around the neighborhood in the dark.
Hall-O-Ween is a better option for parents wanting to give their children more freedom, but also knowing they are staying safe.
Families come from all around Wake County to attend. Leesville’s Hall-O-Ween event brings the Raleigh community together and is a fun and interactive Halloween activity.

It makes my day better when I park well.
