On May 19, 2026, Andretti’s Indoor Karting and Games opened a brand new location next to Top Golf in Brier Creek.
Andretti’s is a nationwide chain of high-tech indoor go-karting tracks. The company is founded and backed by the legendary Andretti Motorsport family, including racing icons such as Mario and Michael Andretti.
The new Durham location marks the 14th track that the family-operated business has opened, and is now the third option for go-karting in the Raleigh area.
The facility is unique, featuring four separate tracks. The blue and green tracks are open for ages over 18, or 15 with a valid driver’s license, with top speeds hitting around 40 miles per hour. Andrettis also offers a smaller junior karts course for those aged 7+, and a mini-kart track for those under seven.
Karting is not even close to all that Andretti offers. There are over 150 arcade games, 3 separate virtual reality experiences, and racing simulators. The facility also hosts a duckpin (miniature) bowling alley as well as a laser tag arena.
The indoor food court also offers full-service dining, tying in well with the location’s two separate bars, one of which has a megatron screen broadcasting sporting events.
Ties to motorsport are also extremely evident. From a real IndyCar hanging on the wall to the signatures of all the Andrettis lining another, the location truly pays homage to the family’s famed name.
Overall, the new location has something for everyone, ranging from pure racing enthusiasts to families wanting to have a fun day out.
It makes my day better when I eat good food.
