Summer is almost here, and the weather is finally getting warmer. Students are looking to get out of the house and spend time outside after finals. For many students, relaxing at the beach is their favorite part of summer. 

One popular destination for students is Wrightsville Beach because of its crystal clear waters and laid-back atmosphere. Wrightsville Beach is a great choice for students who enjoy surfing, boating, and lying out in the sun. “My favorite beach is Wrightsville Beach because the water is always clear and warm when I go,” said Mirall Daher, sophomore.

Another beach students enjoy visiting is Ocean Isle Beach because of its peaceful environment and slower pace compared to more crowded beaches. It’s a popular spot for fishing and enjoying bike rides along the coast. “I love Ocean Isle, my family and I have been going there for years. I always have a great time,” said Sam Shaw, sophomore. 

Carolina Beach is also another favorite for Leesville students. It’s known for its energetic atmosphere and wide range of activities. Students love the lively boardwalk and the local beachside restaurants. “Carolina Beach is my favorite because me and my friends go all the time during the summer. We love golfing and going on the boardwalk,” said Adrian Tubbs, sophomore. 

Students enjoy beach vacations because they provide a chance to take a break from school and their busy schedules. For many teens, beach trips have become a tradition to look forward to every summer and remember for years later.
