Spring break started on March 28 and ended on April 6, spanning just over a week. Spring break marks the end of the third quarter and the beginning of the fourth and final quarter of the school year. 

Students spent their spring break in many different ways. Some students travel over spring break to explore other countries and cultures.

Hannah Allen, senior, said, “Over spring break, I went on a theater trip to Greece and Italy. Mr. Hurley sponsored it… it was such an amazing experience. We were able to try foods from these countries and explore the ancient architecture. It was really fun to see.”

Other students travelled to relax and spend time on the beach.

“Over spring break my family and I went with several other families to Cancun… I spent most of the time at the resort, at the waterpark, in the pool, and on the beach… It was super fun spending time with my family and our friends and just having this break to relax,” said Caroline Vincitorio, freshman.

Some students preferred to stay home over spring break and be productive.

Michael Ogbuowelu, junior, said, “I stayed home over spring break and focused on working and making money. I would text my coworkers to pick up shifts and just try to work as much as I could in my free time.”

Spring break was spent in many different ways by students, enjoying the last long break before the school year ends and summer begins.
