Who won the Leesville vs Heritage soccer game?

On Tuesday, March 10, 2026 Leesville Varsity Women’s Soccer faced off against Heritage on home turf.

The Pride and the Huskies battled their way through the first half and it was a strong defensive performance from both sides and they went into halftime 0-0.

Katie Fuhrer, junior, co-captain, said, “We have to keep going until the end and just give as much as we can until the final whistle.”

It was another close match on Tuesday, March 10,  but ultimately the Pride fell 1-0 to the Huskies on an unfortunate goal.

Leesville competes in the 8A conference and although Heritage is in the 7A conference, the match has conference game energy because it is always so competitive and a close game.

Corrie Moore, junior, said, “Heritage has always just been a good team with a lot of good athletes, so we know we have to communicate and really play our best, defend well, attack well and give it our 100% effort. It’s always an important game when you play someone as good as Heritage, who has good chemistry and knows what they’re doing.”

Moore said, “Definitely, that communication is a big part of playing and giving 100% effort not only for yourself, but for the team.”

The Pride plan to take the lessons they learned in that game to improve their future performances as they near conference play.
