Volleybros is an event hosted by Exec for boys interested in playing volleyball. It will take place on Thursday, March 19, after school in the main gym from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.

If you are interested in playing, first make a team of 7-9 guys, and one person from the team needs to fill out an interest form posted on the LRHS exec Instagram. Also, fill out a waiver and turn it in to Mr. Brinkman in room 115. Wednesday, March 4, is the deadline for registration and the waiver. Copies of the waiver can be found in the media center.

Players will pick a team name, a walk-out song, and a team color. There will be a mandatory rules meeting in the media center on Monday, March 9, during A/B lunch and after school. The tournament will be done in a bracket style. ¨It’s like powderpuff, but guys play, and girls coach¨ said Elise Cha, a junior. 

Any girl interested in coaching can coach. Teams can either choose their coach, or Exec can assign them one, ¨I like the girls coaching, Skylar Attkinson is our coach, she’s one of my friends,¨ said Colt Gidely, a junior.

Exec first came up with this idea when Ms. Fields mentioned it. Exec wanted to be more inclusive – girls had Powderpuff, so why not do a similar event for the boys? ¨People should do it because it’s fun and a good way to connect to the community. You can coach, you can watch, you can play, and there will be concessions,¨ said Cha.
