On Wednesday, March 4, 2026, the LRHS PTSA hosted a senior breakfast for the graduating class of 2026. This breakfast marked the “100 days till graduation” milestone.
The PTA provided Chick-fil-A and McDonald’s biscuits and other breakfast items for the LRHS seniors. The breakfast was then followed by cap and gown distribution.
“I liked the food…Chick-fil-La is pretty lit,” said Morgan McCormack, senior.
“Once we were sitting down, it was good to have a lot of food, and I got to miss a little bit of first period,” said Owen Deak, senior.
The breakfast was held in the multipurpose room, which proved to be a bit of a challenge in holding all five hundred and fifty graduating seniors.
“It was a little hard to get in line and stuff,” said Deak.
“It could’ve maybe been planned a little better, like the awkward U-turns in the middle of getting our food caused a lot of traffic jams,” said McCormack.
Afterwards, seniors received their caps and gowns for graduation, as well as their Latin Honors cords. These cords are awarded to seniors with qualifying weighted GPAs: Summa Cum Laude (4.25+), Magna Cum Laude (4.0-4.249), and Cum Laude (3.75-3.999).
With less than one hundred days until the Class of 2026 graduates, seniors are starting to get excited about closing out their high school years.
“[Being 100 days away] feels amazing. I can’t wait to leave,” said Deak.
Thank you to the PTA for celebrating our seniors.

It makes my day better when I listen to a good playlist.
