What are LRHS students doing for Halloween?

Friday, October 31, 2025, is Halloween, and officially the start of Halloweekend. Many students are taking advantage of Halloween not being on a school night, but the question still remains: What are students’ plans for Halloween?

Some students like to go out and spend time with friends and dress up for Halloween.

“This Halloween, I am going to dress up like Hades from Greek mythology and am planning on going to a Halloween party. I do this every year to spend time with friends and have fun,” said Breon McRae, senior.

Some other students prefer a more relaxed night, with movies and fun festive foods. For some, cozy nights with popcorn, spooky films, and themed snacks sound even better than a night out.

Maddie Boyer, junior, said, “This Halloween, I am planning on getting Halloween-themed foods and baking Halloween foods. I am also going to wear Halloween pajamas and watch horror movies with my friends.”

Another fun Halloween plan some students are planning on doing is going to Halloween attractions, such as Panic Point. Some students think the best way to experience Halloween is to be frightened.

“I’m planning on going to Panic Point this Halloween. I think it is very fitting for the mood and will leave us scared on Halloween, which is ultimately the point of Halloween,” said Eryn Andruchowitz, junior.

Whether dressing up for a Halloween party, relaxing with scary movies, or getting a good scare at a haunted attraction, Leesville students are ready to make the most of Hallo-weekend.
