October 31 marks the end of quarter one for the 2025-2026 school year..
Quarter two means there is a chance for students who want to improve their grade to do so. Quarter two can make or break your final grade for a class. It allows students the chance to redeem themselves from a bad first quarter to balance out their grade to be where they want.
The new policy of not having to take a final exam if a student has a B or higher in a class motivates students to do well this upcoming quarter. How are students planning on improving their grades?
Chelsea Schpero, freshman, said, “For this upcoming quarter, I plan on studying a lot more and using outside resources like Quizlet and Kahoot to make sure I am ready for tests and know the content.”
Some students have decided that the way they plan on being successful is to utilize homework as a way to see what they do and don’t understand and ask questions.
“For this next quarter, I am planning on getting my homework done when it needs to and asking my teachers questions that I am confused about so I can actually understand the concepts,” said Eryn Andruchowitz, junior.
Students can take this next semester and use it to their advantage in many different ways, so they can achieve the grades they desire.
It makes my day better when I say hi to someone I haven’t seen or talked to in a while.
