Who is the New English Teacher, Ms. Lindekugel?

A new teacher has joined the English department at Leesville: Ms. Kimberly Lindekugel.

In the first semester of the school year, she will be teaching English 2 and Structured writing. Next semester, she will be teaching English 2 and AP English Language and Composition.

Ms. Lindekugel’s favorite topic to teach is grammar, even if it is — as she called it — “real nerdy.”

Ms. Lindekugel grew up in Nebraska, where she was a student at the University of Nebraska at Kearney and was a teacher there for nine years.

Ms. Lindekugel moved to North Carolina 20 years ago and recently heard about Leesville from her best friend, Ms. Ballew — one of our social studies teachers.

Ms. Ballew and Ms. Lindekugel have been travel buddies over the years, alongside other teacher friends.

Last summer, their group took a trip to Ireland, Scotland, and London. Next summer, they plan to go to Switzerland.

Outside of her teacher trips, Ms Lindekugel has traveled to Greece and Italy.

In addition to her traveling hobby, Ms. Lindekugel enjoys crafting, hanging out with friends, and of course, reading.

Go stop by Ms. Lindekugel in room 232 and ask her about her favorite books to read. She’s excited to get to know our school.
