What is the Class of 2025 Doing Now?

The Class of 2025 has officially begun its next chapter, with graduates heading to universities across North Carolina and beyond. While their high school years are behind them, their accomplishments and ambitions continue to shape bright futures.

Andrew Miller, former Senior Editor, attends the University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG), where he is excited to embrace both new challenges and opportunities. Reflecting on the transition, Miller said, “It feels great not to walk the same halls every day, and be out of Leesville. I’m ready to see what comes next.”

Georgia Lilley, college freshmen, now calls UNC Charlotte (UNCC) as their home. Lilley said, “Starting fresh in a new city has been both exciting and nerve-wracking. It’s comforting knowing so many familiar faces are here with me.”

Andrew Lieb, former Leesville student, now goes to NC State University. Lieb said, “NC State has already been such a welcoming place. I’m looking forward to finding my place here while still learning the campus.”

Not far from Lieb is Nate Reardon who is at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill (UNC). Reardon, former Leesville student, said, “Being at UNC has already been such an inspiring experience. I’m looking forward to challenging myself and taking advantage of everything campus has to offer.”

Though their paths may diverge, the class of 2025 carries forward the spirit of resilience and connection that defined their time together. Their journeys serve as a reminder that after the high school chapter, their story continues to unfold in remarkable ways.
