Cap and Gowns
Cap and gown distribution will be held March 20, 2024 in the auxiliary gym. Distribution will be held during both lunches.
Students will need to place their cap and gown orders by February 15, 2024 to ensure items come in time for distribution day.
There are two purchase points for graduation gear; jostens and senior fees. Jostens include a student cap, gown, hood, and tassel, and can be purchased for 65 dollars.
Senior fees are 40 dollars and assist with the cost of senior picnic, graduation reception, and diploma covers.
Portraits
If students want graduation portraits, they will need to make an appointment on SignUp Genius.
Prestige Portraits will be at Leesville on Friday, February 16, 2024. There is no session fee and cap and gowns will be provided by the school.
Girls are expected to wear clothing that will not show at the top of the gown and guys should wear a shirt and tie.
Senior Assembly
Senior assembly will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. in the main gym.
The senior walk and senior picnic will follow the assembly.
Graduation Reception
Graduation reception will take place on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 5-7pm. It will be held in the cafeteria and tickets for the graduation ceremony will be distributed at this event.
Graduation Ceremony
The actual graduation ceremony will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center, Sunday, June 9, 2024, at 12 p.m.
Senior Exams
Lastly, not all seniors are required to take exams if exempt. In order to be exempt from exams, students must have a B average and 10 or fewer absences in each class. Exams for students not exempt will be held June 3 and 4, 2024, a few days before underclassman.
