Fall Festivities

  • Pumpkin Picking

Fall would be incomplete without the infamous, side of the road pumpkin shacks selling overpriced pumpkins while families pose in barrels of hay in matching flannels, a sight one cannot miss while driving by!

  • Pumpkin Spice Food/Drink

Nothing beats Dunkin Donuts’ pumpkin spice muffins, and its gooey middle and flavorful outer-coating. Combine that with Starbucks’ pumpkin spice latte, and you’ve got yourself a small chunk of heaven for breakfast.

  • Panic Point

Who doesn’t love to have every bone in their body frightened while guys with blood-splattered masks run at you full speed with chainsaws whirring in the wind?

  • The Fair

Between the funnel cake you can’t really see through the pounds of powdered sugar, to “the Zipper” that everyone wants to try not to throw up on, the Fair outdoes itself each and every year.

  • Halloween

The night Wake County students might actually enjoy for once, due to no school the next day, woohoo! Pumpkin carving, jack-o-lantern making, and trick-or-treating for the win!

  • Fear Farm

Discrepancy over which is better, Fear Farm or Panic Point, yet Fear Farm was said to have the most options of fear to choose from, so try both fright fests and decide for yourself!

  • Decorations

Everyone’s favorite thing to come home to: mums and pumpkins on the front porch, scarecrows and hay barrels out in the yard, and a pumpkin candle burning inside encompasses the true feeling of fall.

  • Sweater Weather

Strut the runway girls… or guys who can rock those fabulous sweaters from Urban Outfitters! Time to break out the sweaters you’ve had kept away during summer, match it with a cute pair of jeans, and you’re ready to go!

  • Football Friday

Deafeningly-loud student sections, best band in the world, talented dancers and cheerleaders, and some competitive football makes for an unforgettable Friday night with friends!

  • Halloween Candy

If you think there is just one type of Halloween candy, think again. Candy corn, orange stuffed oreos, orange peeps, and edible mini-pumpkins are just a few prime examples.
