Senior Night

The seniors pose for a picture in Marshall L. Hamilton stadium with Coach Paul Dinkenor. The winner of the Millbrook v Leesville game will decide the first place spot in the CAP-8.

As the Pride women’s soccer season is getting to the home stretch, the last home game is rapidly approaching. The final game played at Marshall L. Hamilton stadium is reserved for honoring the seniors and the work they’ve put in over the past years.

Leesville has five seniors on the team this year: Kayla Jensen, Brenna O’Brien, Shannon Hardy, Madison Hoffmann and Izzy White.

Jensen plans on attending UNC-Chapel Hill next year to pursue a major in biology. She has been playing as a defender under Paul Dinkenor since her junior year.

O’Brien has been on the team since her sophomore year. Dinkenor moved her from offense to defense her senior season. ECU will be welcoming O’Brien in the fall as she plans to major in elementary education.

Hardy has been playing for the Pride as the starting goalie since her junior year. She is going on to play college soccer at Catawba College in the fall and will major in athletic training.

Hoffmann has been on the team since freshman year. She will also be playing college soccer next year at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and will major in nutrition.

White has been playing for Leesville since junior year after transferring from Enloe. She plans to attend the University of North Carolina at Wilmington to practice nursing.

The seniors will be honored before the team announcements and the national anthem at Monday’s game against Millbrook.
