The week of November 15-19, 2010 is Leesville Road High School’s College Application Week. This statewide event is hosted by the counselors of the Student Services department.
Counselors plan to work with seniors who have not yet applied to college on November 18, during first, second and fourth periods. The goal is to help students complete at least one college application using CFNC.org, a college information and planning website.
To sign up, students must go to Student Services to pick up an application packet by Tuesday, November 16.
In addition to fifty-eight North Carolina Community Colleges, numerous private universities will waive their application fees. For a complete list, visit the Student Services’ announcement page.
